The Bellwether Foundation is committed to improving the quality of life for all people in St. Louis by supporting innovative programs that make a positive impact for present and future generations.

What We Fund

The Bellwether Foundation supports St. Louis area based,
501(c)(3) organizations. We provide grants to non-profits with focus in the areas of arts and sciences, education, the environment and St. Louis cultural institutions. Grants are awarded in the areas of programmatic support (preferred), general operations, capital and endowment support.

Projects of interest to The Bellwether Foundation:

  • Support under-resourced or under-represented communities.
  • Offer larger scale, measurable impact.
  • Implement innovative solutions.

Arts & Sciences

We support projects that feed creativity and generate new ideas .

Cultural Institutions

We support unique cultural organizations that enrich and distinguish our community.
